Though the tone of our Sunday gatherings is casual, they are intentionally and liturgically shaped. Each week of artful, dialogical worship includes sitting in the round, honest conversation, confession and absolution, and celebrating an inclusive, open table Eucharist. We have a vibrant artist residency supporting local musicians and visual artists whose voices shape our gathering. Always, we value incorporating diverse practices and voices into our communal dialogue around God at work in scripture and our world.
On any given week, we may also eat together, dive into faith exploration, engage in a book study, go in depth with a missional partner, or pray and create art together. Find out more about our current Sunday series here.
ACCESSIBILITY
Emmaus Way strives to be an accessible community in how we gather.
We meet in an ADA compliant church with an elevator from the main floor to our gathering space and accessible bathrooms throughout the building.
The seating in the chapel is moveable, making it easy for mobility aid and wheelchair accessibility. You will also find fidget toys, masks, and ear plugs available as you enter the chapel. We encourage everyone to use microphones when speaking in dialogue, and we welcome task-trained service dogs.
Knowing that disruptions are a part of what it means to do life in community, we strive to be a community where all may move in the space in ways that are comfortable to them.
Feel free to reach out (admin@emmausway.net) for more information, as well as with any questions you have about joining our gatherings.
